CRISTO PARA LAS NACIONES - MONTERREY, MEXICO

Kathleen was invited to be a guest speaker at Christ For The Nations Bible School in Monterrey, NL Mexico on Oct 19th, 20th, and 21st, 2009.  This was a new and awesome experience and another new door that Kathleen feels the Lord is opening for her...with 22 years experience in the mission field she is ready to share with your church, school, or ladies meetings.  Give her a call!

December 2008

POR VENIR!

Christmas is always a busy time for ministry in Mexico....people always seem more open to hearing and recieving the Word at this time of year.  We had several outreach parties, where the Gospel was shared.  First was at a rancho called "Por Venir". this was our 3rd year celebrating Christmas with them.  We also supply the pastor's wife, Lupita, with meds and supplies to take care of the needs of the surrounding villages as they have no medical care there.  Here Charlie G hands out gifts to the women.

Below all the children recieved a package of school supplies, candy, and a Bible coloring book! They were very happy. Thanks to all who gave toward this outreach!

Dresses were given to the women that could fit into them...they were made by a church up North....what a blessing. Thanks to Delphine G for getting these for us.

Everyone recieved a Christian tract with the story of the candy cane on it thanks to Nancy Young from Houston.

 And they made us a great dinner with all the wonderful food from Heaven (oops! I mean Mexico!) HA!

CASA DE DIOS!

Next we visited Guadalupe's mission church and they did a cute program for us before our lesson.

Each child also recieved the gift bag of school supplies,  a Christian coloring book and candy, plus each was served a hot dog dinner  and prayed for.

 Grandson, Steven, gave the salvation message as Grandma Kathleen translated.  His first time teaching in Mexico. We're proud of him!

 REYNOSA YOUTH PRISON

 Our fourth year ministering here brought at least 2 salvations as we shared goodie bags and the love of Christ with these 17 young men who ate 86 hamburgers with all the trimmings (they are growing boys!). Thanks so much to Elgin Family Worship Center for providing these goodies and to all the teens (and "older" teens) that did the cooking and went along with us to minister.

Below: They actually let us have a picture this year and we were allowed to go to the cells to minister to the new inmates (the first year they allowed us to do this) - Praise the Lord for the favor He has granted us here!

 VICTORIA CLINIC/CORAZON GRANDE CHRISTMAS PARTY

We planned for 200 children AND THEY CAME. This program was a joint effort with Eric & Juana, their teen helpers, Elgin Family Worship Center, and Victoria Clinic staff.  Big thanks go to Big Heart Orphanage that loaned us their gym to hold the party.

Please see the WORKING TOGETHER page for many more photos of the Way Of The Cross Pastor's Conference in Aldama, Mexico that Kathleen attended and assisted with after a head on van accident killed 2 missionary friends and put another 5 in the hospital in Tampico. We were so blessed to that she was able to lend a hand to another ministry in their time of need. 

 Below see the clinic and staff (Martha, Kathleen, Mary, and Dr. Leo) in the Aldama Camp where approx. 430 patients were treated during the pastors conference. (About 700 pastors and their children attended, I think.)

We want to say a special thanks to all who filled in at our clinics to make Kathleen available to help out in Aldama with their emergency needs.  Thanks Ana Maria, translator, & Sandy Fisher, RN, pictured below seeing patients.
