MayJohn 15:16 "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."
Our prayer requests for November 2009 are:
1. Please continue to pray for our safety as we come and go in Mexico. The violence has come to Reynosa recently and many soldiers have been killed in shoot outs. We are searched at least once and sometimes multiple times as we cross into Mexico with our supplies for the tent ministry and other projects we continue to work on for the Lord.
2. Pray for Cristo es la Respuesta (Christ is the Answer) tent group ministry we are working with, that their needs will be met according to His riches. Mostly pray for them to be able to resist the temptations of Satan to draw them out of the ministry by hardships and less than favorable living conditions at times.
3. Pray for finances to continue the ministry that the Lord would have us do for Him and for understanding of our supporters as the Lord re-directs our efforts to a more salvation based outreach.
4. Please continue to pray for our family that is not yet saved, the time is short!
5. Continue to pray for the patients that we have supplied with meds until the end of 2009....that they find a new supplier and that their medical needs continue to be met.
6. Pray for Kathleen, as she steps into a new teaching ministry that she feels the Lord is leading her into.
Our prayer requests for April 2009 are:
1. Pleae pray for our safetly as we cross into Mexico, the drug violence has gotten worse over the last few months here in Reynosa and several have been shot in the streets, as well as, many protests that close the bridges to come back to the US. Pray for the Mexican & US guards on the borders!
2. Pray for finances and God's will in keeping the clinic open.
3. Pray for our family members that are still lost.
4. Pray for all the people that came to the Aldama Pastor's Conference....that God provide their needs and give them strength to continue to bring the lost into the kingdom.
5. Pray for WOTC and Cristo Es La Repuesta to continue on toward the goal that God has set for them (and for the Nicaragua Pastor's Conference this summer!)
First thanks for the prayers for sister Roxane, she and her new liver are doing great!
Our prayer request for January 2009 are:
1. Please continue to pray for all those whose homes were damaged here in the hurricane and the flood waters to recede and the mosquitos to be gone (a huge problem with all the flood water still around and it's raining more every day). Please continue this prayer, as even 6 months later we still have families struggling to get their homes repaired.
2. Please pray for Rafa and Sondra, who made a trip to El Salvador in March of 2008 and were unable to get Rafa's visa to return to the US. She had to return to care for her children and he had to remain there and is spending time with his children. They are still praying for God's will in this situation.
3. Please pray for the Way Of The Cross Ministery as they plan the 2009 Mexico Pastor's Conference that Kathleen helps with. Pray God brings in the finances, the help, and the pastors He wants there!
4. Safe border crossings into Mexico with the food, medicine, groups, and other supplies necessary for the ministry.
5. Continued leading of the Holy Spirit regarding all ministry areas and finances.
6. Finding and buying a (new to us) vehicle for the ministry use. (Our old one has 140,000 miles and the roof is rusted thru so that when it rains everything and everyone inside gets wet. The rust is around the window frames and the corners and seams, so would be expensive and hard to repair.)
7. Group from Alabama that will be coming to do surgeries at the clinic March 29th to April 1st.
8. Health for all of us to continue serving the best we can.
9. Blessings for all of our volunteers and supporters, that God may repay them for all they do for Him and us.
10.. Guadalupe was told she could no longer hold her meetings at the location they had loaned her....she is currently looking for a piece of property to buy and build a church for these meetings. Please pray with us for the "God chosen" property and the money to buy and build what HE wants!
